Lithos Residences

The architectural vision features 4 vacation villas harmoniously nestled into the sloping landscape of St. George’s Bay. Organized in a linear layout and spreading in two levels, the design embraces the topography and uses incave structures, blending naturally in the environment and creating a harmony of built form and nature. All 4 villas enjoy mesmerizing views to the Aegean blue, the St George Bay with the imposing Despotiko island and the breath-taking colors of the sunset.

Constructed primarily from local stone, wood and local materials, the volumes echo the materiality of the landscape, while green roofs and private gardens enhance the ecological footprint and sustainability performance. The structures are separated by planted pathways and staircases, facilitating easy movement through the site, and ensuring privacy between the villas.

Each villa features a private outdoor area with shaded pergolas and an oversized infinity pool, positioned ideally to maximize sea views, flow of air, and sunlight exposure. The interplay between indoor and outdoor spaces is central to the design, with large openings, natural materials, and open-air courtyards that create a seamless spatial flow.
